Charlotte Emmery

Head of Nordic Guide Academy

  • Certified Touristguide from Roskilde University
  • Educated teacher, certified personal coach and Master of science, experience economy, Roskilde University
  • External lecturer at the Nature and Culture Interpretation programme, Skovskolen, University of Copenhagen

Charlotte has many years of experience as a guide and external lecturer in communication, interpretation, rhetoric, storytelling, performance, intercultural communication and guide technique.

She is also the author of the handbook “You Don’t Sing at a University” about hosting and the experience economy

Henriette Brink

    Henriette has many years of experience as a tourist guide, tour leader, project manager and external lecturer at the Tourist Guide Diploma Program at Roskilde university with teaching in innovation and entrepreneurship.

  • Trained in hospitality, as a purser and guide
  • Education in storytelling from BestTellers
  • Tanja has worked at SAS for many years and can get by in Scandinavian.
    She also taught hospitality and cultural communication at the Hotel and Restaurant School and can also assist with conflict management.

    Mette Thornval (in the middle)

  • Certified Tourist guide from Roskilde University
  • Master’s degree (cand. mag.) in history and communication
  • Sommelier from the Vinakademiet
  • Starts a course on waiter training (beer) after the summer holidays
  • Education in storytelling from BestTellers
  • Mette is a specialist in food stories and wine tasting with stories.
    She has, among other things, taught guides in the Voices of the Street and the socially disadvantaged at Kofoed’s School.

  • Certified Tourist guide from Roskilde University
  • Educated School teacher
  • Education in storytelling from BestTellers
  • She has lived with her family in the USA, which has made her an expert in cultural differences between Denmark and the USA. Sara has held indoor city walks for, among others, the Danish Society for the Blind and taught museum and city guides in Viborg

    Torben Trojaner Frandsen

    Weirdwalks

  • Certified guide from Roskilde University.
  • Certified psychotherapist.
  • Has been a historical communicator since 1992.
  • Worked as a cultural storyteller in 12 countries with a specialization in Viking Age reenactment.
  • Torben is city walker and owner of the city walking company Weirdwalks , which he established in 2009.

    The name comes from the fact that he likes everything strange, especially when it is historical, and Copenhagen offers a fantastic and extreme catalog of bizarre, strange, dark but also merry and loose stories.
